Consultations and procedures are carried out at Spire Regency Hospital, which offers modern outpatient facilities, imaging services and day-case treatment.

Referrals

 

I welcome referrals from:

  • GPs

  • Physiotherapists

  • Osteopaths and chiropractors

  • Consultants

  • Other healthcare professionals

  • Self-referring patients

You do not necessarily need a GP referral to arrange a private consultation.

Private Medical Insurance

 

If you are using private medical insurance, please have the following information available when booking:

  • Your insurer's name

  • Membership number

  • Authorisation number (if required)

If you are unsure whether your policy covers your consultation or treatment, we recommend contacting your insurer before your appointment.

Self-Pay Patients

 

Self-pay appointments can usually be arranged directly through my secretary without requiring a GP referral.

 

If you are considering self-funded treatment, we will be happy to explain the booking process and provide information about consultation fees and procedure costs.

How quickly can I usually be seen?

Appointment availability varies throughout the year. Please contact my secretary for current waiting times.

Can I book online?

 

Online booking is available through The Spire Healthcare website and through Doctify. Otherwise, appointments can be arranged by telephone or email.

Can I send my MRI scan before my appointment?

 

Yes.

If you have copies of your imaging reports or scans, these can often be sent securely before your consultation. Our secretary will advise you on the preferred method.

Can my GP refer me directly?

 

Yes.

GP referrals are welcome and can usually be sent directly to my secretary.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

 

If you need to rearrange your appointment, please let us know as early as possible so that we can offer the appointment to another patient.
